May sort itself out. I had a plant do that and didn't catch it early. It ended up growing in a hard knot and the plant ended up smaller but otherwise produced fine. I wouldn't toss it.

I practiced some patients, and look who decided to show. The stem is in a knot under the soil, but tap root coming out bottom. This will be a fun girl to watch. That makes 9/9 seeds up.
