Truth be told I actually have a slightly modified version of this cooking right now. I did a chem reagent test on it today and I'm falling short on phosphorus a bit. Picked up 5#'s of happy frog 0-5-0 today to add to it. I am very anxious to run it. It hopefully will be ready in a month as P is the only thing it seems to be short on. Fingers crossed but I'm fully stocked with chem and organic to deal with any possible problems.

That's what I was telling him too about no nutes.Pat yourself on the back about your last grow.Nice job.One more thing,I'm not a noob,I've been growing in small amounts per grow for the past 5 years.I've done hydro,too much hassle.I like dirt much better.
it's much easier to control the amount of nutes and you don't have to worry about balancing your ppm's so much,like I said too much of a hassle.
IMO dirt is way less time consuming.You can control your grow a lot easier too by giving the amount of nutes your plants are asking for.

Not that important but I though I would update. The sprout has taken well to her new home "TIKITOKER MODIDIED SUPERSOIL" as of yesterday, and her leaves have pitched straight up at a 45. I hit her with some H1/F2 acid and 20ppm of phosphoric acid.

come on now brother, shit aint worth it. I have found myself in a pickle recently. Just fluff that shit off and burn one...... for me and you!!!! Your advise was extremely helpful, as you were most prevelant. I did follow ur advise and shit is starting to turn around...... for the better! TY Brother.

alright, im looking at her again today and it's been 7 days since she broke ground and 10 days since germination. her stem is red and I can barley make out red in her vein. about 1/2 of the total length is starting to turn. no burn, no spots so im convinced that seedlings do need food. also does anyone think the is a tad bit slow to grow for being 1 week above ground? my bud tossed me a super silver feminized, so I might just scrap this sprout if she is a weekling. your thoughts?

anyone notice the blue hue her leaves have? Well that would be a phosphorus deficiency indicator. And SEEDLINGS NEVER GET FED .........right? lol

i see nothing wrong with your seedling, looks fine. don't scrap it???
they grow at their own pace, depending on the environment. just grow it and learn as you go.
if you want to grow the other seed than grow them both, just because you think it is growing slow, doesn't mean it will not turn out good, long as you don't stress it ...it will produce herb...plus you get to learn in the process.
patients is the hardest thing to learn

Thanks Lime, I just am comparing too often the growth rate I have in HPA to this soil seedling. My expectations were unfair as organic soil grows are very much different and growth is nowhere's near as fast. However Im in this for the quality, not always quanity. This grow has proven itself to be very trying and lesson filled. Lesson learned.
