Seedling burning up

I use plugs. The seeds sprout and seedling thrice but as soon as I put into Lowes Harvest organics soil (ph 5 to 6) the seedlings fry. They stop growing and turn yellow. It sucks. I have wasted hundreds of dollars of seedlings like this. I don't understand if the soil pH is between 5 and 6 I'd think it wouldn't burn the baby's up.

5 is way low for a soil imo. Switch media and/or let seedling grow more before transplant. More info and pics would help peeps out. Nutes or lights burn them up

Thanku for the helpfulb info! Dang. I got so discouraged I composed them. Like I say they were beautiful little seedlings (MSNL White lighting) but a week after being in that soil. Stopped growing and literally fried yellow. I now use happy frog soil which they seem to thrive in. But gosh that soil is expensive. Thing is I have used that Lowes harvest organics before with no issues. Like u say maybe let the seedlings mature before planting them.. What is a good PH for soil I wonder?

If you're not watering in bottled nutes, and you can keep the microbiology of the soil thriving, you don't have to worry so much about ph. The microbes will buffer it.

Like holla mentioned its not a critical thing in a microbe rich soil. Im thinking the soil is probably too hot for seedlings or atleast the strain
