Seeding Plant, What to Do - How to Fix it?

I have a female plant thats into its 4th week of flowering and showing signs of seeds at the nodes where the female hairs normally show at the beginning of flowering (like in these hair sac's, you break them open and their are tiny seeds in them). Is their a way to breed out this trait, removing it from the genetic's line? So, the plant can focus only on flowering and not waste time producing seeds.

No male in the room, I just looked up and seen these hair pockets swollen, so I cut one off and it had a tiny seed in it, I cut off another one and it had a tiny seed in it. I read, it was called Selfing. I'm assuming, I'm going to have to breed out alot and do the lights on lights off techinque to find a true 100% female plant, then cross my genetics, stablizing this plant.

Must have hermied on you. let them ripen and you will have lots of seeds, thc will go to shit as the buds are now seeding let it ride now and check your plant their must be some pods somewhere on your plant and do your other plants, if they are in the rm, do they have seeds as well?

Bought feminized seeds, mine did the same thing. Except not one seed actually matured into a seed. Like the sacs were there but even after i harvested there were no seeds. I was afraid I had a hermie or something but everything worked out.

More than one, all having the same problem. I've experienced this before, but has only come to my attention just recently. Stress, is my only guess.

Are fem seeds prone to this? My bro shit has seed init and he says they are feminized seed? small undeveloped, good for shit and the weed almost degrades too. so they can go haywire, hey?

Not sure, if this is a characteristic of female seeds. No not femizied, this one came out of a batch of male and female plants, I pulled the males plants before the pods opened, I'll just have to try the next batch out, see if I can make a cross and cut out this... well, not so horrible trait, but worthless for budding.

So there was males in the room when did you take them out? could it have got your girl prego? Before you took him out!
True female? How do you get one of them...stress? torture it?, lighting flux? probably all...

True female - Stress, use the lights (turn them on, turn them off 12/12 for a week, then 24 hours for 2 days, then 12/12 for 2 days, then 24 hours for a day, and so forth). Here's a link:

Their was a male in the room, but it was an immature male, I pulled him out, he was actually a female plant that got a dose of some good silver, lol.

ok so you want a true female for breeding purposes. gotcha! so is that how you got your hermie...stressing it out? to find the one True Female.
And you turned a fem into a male....don't you want females??? I'm a little confused...please fill me in about you and your goals. Just curious is all.

I'm thinking stress caused the female to produce these tiny seeds at the nodes, the only place seeds are being produced. Can't turn a female into a male, you can turn a female into a female plant that produces female pollen. Yep, all I want is female's, unless breeding.

So you are trying to find a True female so you can change one branch to male so you can collect pollen(female) to use in breeding! So Xx pollen to cross with another true female Xx will produce feminized seeds..Am I making sense?

I found a true female, if the lights didn't go off and on more times, than an irregular light cycle than, I would have had male pods everywhere. Makes sense. Yeah, I was kinda like, 4 weeks into flowering an bam, a tiny worthless seed... Yes, crossing, pollen produced, by a female plant with another female plant creates female seeds.

This can't be selfing, thses seeds were produced without the help of pollen. Neither could it be a hermie. I've seen this on other plants I've grown, seeds appear in flowering, at the nodes in the sac where the white hair protrudes. Can this trait be breed out?

Bump, Bump...

Conclusion: breed out the unwanted traits.

Thanks all for helping, with quick response times.
