seeded bud from fem seeds!

Greetings and salutations! I chose this thread for the hopes that most who will answer my question, are experienced growers. I have seen the subject discussed but never answered to my satisfaction!

Do seeds found in bud from a feminized seed produce fems, exact duplicates like a clone, or regular seeds?
I have grown strictly fems for the last 5 years and almost every crop will have about 10 or less seeds through out the yield. Minimum yields being 1/4 lb per plant. I don't have any problem with that. It is all for personal use for medical problems.

I keep most of these seeds and label them. What can I expect if I run a few? No offense, but only people with experience growing them out, would I like to hear from.

There are a few possibilities:
1. You have S1 seeds from a small portion of the plant pollinating itself. (Fem seeds, very close to the original, same DNA, but environmental variables can make it looks like a different Pheno.

2. Fem herms and pollinates other fem. Results in Fem cross, Female seeds result with a mix of the DNA, each seed could be quite different.

3. Contamination, outdoor or indoor male pollen or any other potential male pollen you could have carried to it. Non-Fem cross of mom and dad, highly variable.

4. Ghost seeds, that is what I call them, some plants make seeds even when not pollinated. They are usually small, pale/white, or hollow in this case. Non-viable, so if in doubt plant them, these won't grow. They also all float.

Without knowing in detail what happened in the grow it's difficult to narrow it down any further. Test a few seeds, if you get any males you are looking at #3. If none grow, they are probably #4. If they grow and are all female, you have #1 or both #1 & #2.

There is another possibility, although I agree with most of the suggestions above.....

A fem turned male....or a missed male....

I have been growing fem only for going on 5 years now....Still waiting to pull a male after all this time and 2k or so.... popped seeds....
I have even come across a tri cotyl that seems to be homozygous for the trait, even thru selfing, as I ended up with a handful of beans at the end...

Some of the most notorious strains in the world are fem only....So nothing to be ashamed of and I get compliments all the time...but maybe don't discuss your love of fem's with "breeders" some will disdain the practice...others are of the opinion to save EVERYTHING, regardless :peace:

You have female seeds only from your plants. They may have hermaphrodite qualities in them that you cannot detect until you grown them from seed, it is a chance you take with feminized seeds. You should be happy that you are getting them as you normally have to force it, but like I said you are getting a natural hermaphrodite now and part of the genes in your plants. If you want to get them out you will need to backcross and square them with a male from a similar plant to get that out and it will take time.
