what would ur buds look like if u germinated planted and grew a plant from an upper mid grade seed... would it still be kinda dank because it wasnt compresssed into a brick or what

It would be green and smokable.... But personally I would start with a clone from a female plant or if i was going to use seeds i would try multiple just in case one is a male. The better the seed you start with the better the quality of your flower.

I consider mine very good. Look at some of the bag seed journals around here. It's all in how you grow it

it's def. less likely than if you start with a known strain, but it's still possible.

A large part about it being "mids" is the way it's dried/cured so if you take care of it around harvest time you can come up with much better stuff.

I've taken this route twice myself

lots of poor genetics out there the brokers aren't sure your getting the best possible seeds ,its important to let them know if you have poor germ rate , male ratio or mutations they will deal with the breeders ,and some of the best ive grown has come from bag seed
