Planted my germinated seeds in soil roughly 30 hours ago..they just broke the soil with little hooks visible. I will be growing with cfl's only. Was wondering what is too much light for the newly sprouted seedling. I have 6000 lumens combined on the two for now, roughly 6 inches above the little hook that came out from the soil. Will be adding double that this week..maybe a bit more by the weekend. Was wondering if the light is enough, or is too much for the new sprout. I read around the 1st set of true leaves, I can give it all the lights and move them as close as allowable..a few inches away.

The only 'advice' I can give you or anyone is to read and learn and then apply what you have read and learned to your garden and you cannot fail. Anyways, remember the search tool is your friend...Lots of folks here willing to help a new farmer get up and growing. But at the end of the day your grow will be only as good as the knowledge a is)hatnd work you put into it.
It is always great to ask questions but do not take anyone's advice or opinions and follow blindly. Do your own research, you will be much happier knowing you have done it for yourself and by yourself. The first buzz you get from your own budz...is by far the BEST high you will ever have!

After that you are a seasoned vet. Because to soak up all that information and sift through it, is going to take time. You will likely finish your first grow by then. Viola! grow complete and education well under way.

I sprout and root my babies under 250w of cfl about 1.5" from the gurlz....Also, no such thing as to much light (for an established plant that is).Here are a couple of pics taken early in my current grow...

So do you need a fan attached to the light also wit the foils or jus those foils on each side? Because I have 4 fans blowing inside my closet to help wit temps

Congrats you have some seedlings
Now don't do a total newbie thing and start feeding them. In good soil you don't really need any nutes, unless they start show deficiencies.
With cfls, you can never really have to much. Personally I think they are only good for the first week. I use a 400w mh min.

I wont be giving nutes as they are auto's. Likely a bit once, if, it flowers. Lights are inches away. Not sure how to water, so just adding a couple drops around the seedling. We'll see what happens.

Depending on the pot side I only ever had to water maybe once or twice max in veg per week.
