best wat to do it IMO is cotton. i set a layer of cotton on the bottom and wet it. than i out the seed on top, than i set another layer of cotton on top and wet it. keep the temp from 70 degress to 90 degress. nothing above 90 "from the jorge cervantes bible" they need water, temperature and air (oxygen) to germinate. once they slit and little tail looking thing pops out, ur ready for soil. I find it works best when you use a pen or pencil and make a small hole about twice as deep as the seed, than plant it with the tail pointing down. i get a spray bottle to keep them moist instead of pouring water cuz sometimes that makes the seed get burried deeper in the soil, and it makes it hard for the seed to sprout trough the soil. if u got questions let me know.

Just put a few seeds in a cup with a little bit of water maybe 1/4 and let them soak for a day or so..If they dont sink after the first day put you finger and mix the water and they should sink..after they have sunk just be patient and if the seed is good they will crack and you will see a tap root..plant with tip down

Yes sir, here we go. Okay first take a look at your pretty little plant and gentlely push back the new growth at the top. You will notice two new leaves developing. See the new growth in the middle of the two leaves. It is the next set of leaves on the stem. You will take a razor blade and remove the middle growth without damaging the two leaves that you pushed back very carefully. It will result in two main stem producing more Kolas. Its not a bad method for growing indoors or out.

I find topping helps prevent mold growth by recuding the size of the kola. It will most likely not result in a drop in production. It may even increase yeild.

Theres an alternate method that can be practiced called Fimming. It is removing about 90 percent of that middle growth. IF done correctly it will cause four new stem growths rather tha two.

they dont really need to be in a dark spot. i use my light to help keep the heat up. i put them in a plastic countainer and put the lid half way one to keep direct light away from them.

Well i put them in a shooter glass with a cup over it and i keep this under my fluro
when they sink i put them in soil , now i have 2 seeds on 3 that germinated this so ill keep this method if it works:clap:

Personally I soak the seeds for 12 hours, if they sink or not, and then plant them. I have a 95% success rate this way, and all the sprouts will usually pop through during days 3-5.

Every time I try the paper towel method, they all will germ, but only around 30-40% of them will sprout after planting, the rest always die off. Even though it does work for the most part, it seems like alot of unnecessary risk, when you could just do it natures way. You will be assured of success, and not have to risk at all killing that $20-30 seed you just bought.

you can also use a razor to split the casing, that tends to helpout some of the seeds. Esp. the really fat ones that have trouble opening up.

So my little Durban Poison is growing those 2 little leaves on the side of the cotyleons

My Afgan sprouted and is now a little seedling , but her cotyleon are closed they will probably open soon like the other one.

But my skunk still did'nt germ :( i think its not good , but i'll give a couple more days .

Any comment on what i should do next ?

go to Grow Journal THANKS !

once you see a root pop and place them in siol DO NOT fucking dig them up again, they will only get more shiock and take longer to pop
