Seed Germination Question

Hi To All Growers...

Quick Question about germinating seed with the "moist paper towel" way...

I bought a cross pack from Magic Mushrooms | Cannabis Seeds | Headshop, 4 different strians, 2 of the four strains had extremely small seeds, (I was sure I got jipped).

I ran the paper towels under a faucet wich made them very moist, and put them in a bag, only two of 15 seeds sprouted...

I replaced the top paper towel with a lesser moist paper towel (misted 4-5 times) and put it back in the bag and low an behold, of the two smaller strained seeds sprouted after about 4 days.

Question 1#, could too much moisture on the paper towels make the seeds not sprout ?

Question 2# if I dry the seeds that have not sprouted and save them for a later time would I have any chance of them being O.K. ?

Thanks For Any Help!

Once you got the seeds wet, I wouldn't dry them out for later use. Moisture means moisture. To much moister doesn't allow for air. I use a wet paper towel in a zip-lock. Then in a brown paper bag. Then I set the bag on a heating mat set at 90 degrees. This works for me.
