Hi,

I just germinated 5 seeds (Ganja dwarf) and they have all sprouted. I noticed when I placed one of the sprouts onto the soil it looked like it had two sprouts coming out of it. Now it has sprouted in the pot and has two shoots!? Is this a problem? What do I do?? I haven't heard of this before!:!:

Thanks!:peace:

If one of them is skinny white weak looking with a pointy tip then that's a root. Otherwise.. nice! 2 in 1.

I had that once from one of Subcool's seeds. I heard it happens once in a while with his gear. I ended up pulling out the weaker one because I noticed that plant wasn't keeping up with the rest. It could have just been the pheno. I've never seen someone finish a plant that started like that. Experiment!

My opinion would be, you going to have two plants. one weaker one stronger or both weak both strong etc...now there only seedlings, so i imagine there planted in some small container waiting to be transplanted, your prob going to end up pulling the weaker one, all it is doing is using up the nitrients for the stronger plant (veg state) seeds already have enough nutrients. You could also pull it and replant it if the root systems arnt connected, if they are and u pull it. most likely going to over shock the plant ripping the roots apart, and it will sloooowly recover or just die. also depending on the light being used, HPS example, could provide enough light to grow both plants strong, its a experiment. play and learn with it. pics would be great. hope that helped at all!!.
