Seed germ and plant growth rate

Just out of curiousity...I've germinated about 30 or 40 seeds and was wondering if anyone has noticed a correlation between how quickly a seed germinates and how quickly it grows. in other words if a seed germinates very quickly does that necessarily mean it will grow quickly as well?

yeah i would say there is a relation. a healthy seed is a healthy plant
