Seed Cracked

Went to go germ my seeds and it looks like there is a crack on greenhouse auto NL. I didnt mess with it and just let it be hoping it will germ. Should I further check or just leave it be?

Its from theattitudeseedbank btw.

UPDATE: Both taproots came out successfully. Put them in solo cups about 1 inch down. Not gonna put light on them till the first leaves show. Guess it wasn't a crack or didnt matter. I did drop the seed a few inches trying to put them in the soil. Hopefully that doesnt matter?

Cracked? As in broken crack or it is already trying to germinate? You can always try germinating the cracked on if you want. I don't think it would work.

Before I started it looks like it has a small gash, like it starting to open already. But I just opened the package which was packaged nice enough.

So checked them today and looks like they are both starting to open. Is that what happens? It starts opening like a clam? LOL???

the root comes out first , the shell keeps moisture in. the sprout has to live in the seed until it gets watered, then ...good luck!

Good luck man, sounds like she might make it. They do kind of open like a clam. I had to go check my seed stash after reading this to make sure they aren't cracking... all good lol.

Too warm and too moist wherever they are stored.
Are you sure? Kept temp about 75, and put between 3 paper towels, as in the GERM 420 guide.

What should I do? Seems like they can't be too moist but maybe...?

Edit: Just checked again, it on one (non cracked) it seems to have a little tiny green tail working its way out. The other is just opening like a clam...
