security guard patting you down at a dispensary

has this happened to anyone else before?

i went to a new collective last night and the security guard patted me down when i entered the lounge.. i was actually confused on how to react to that... i've been hitting up collectives for three years now and this was the first time it's happened.

Never happened to me here in Colorado. To be honest the most security I have seen was only for the 4/20 season; the guard carried a pistol plus more.

Welp, from one eye you could say it is wrong they pat you down before you go in. Why not pat you down before you go stand in line at Walmart Pharmacy?

Another view point is that, it's just security. Unless you are literally planning to rob a dispensary, there is no need to worry about being searched.

HOWEVER! If the security guard pats me down... and I feel blank, almost somewhat violated, then I will raise hell. I'd rather not have FSA mistake my cock for a rifle again

The message you should have received from the pat down is that that new collective is expecting Trouble. Maybe they are being paranoid or overprotective or maybe they just expect some bad people coming in. Tread lightly
