ok I understand about ya power conserns, we all have the same problem even more so the "big" growers.
I wanted to try LED's but I done loads of looking and decided they aint up to the job when I saw a 600w 5 color LED grow (prototype fitting) the yeld was less than the same grower gets with a 600w HPS.
There are better grow lights than HPS, ceramic metal halide's are avalable and ment to out perform HPS.
But NASA is my god, they use plasma arc discharge lamps they are cutting edge and un-avalabe to us, If LED was the future why would NASA not use em????
