Secondary harvest 1 crop

Mr I Can Do That For Half
Here are a few pictures of the lower and secondary buds from my last aero crop.I like to harvest the main part of the plant and leave about foot or so of the main stalk with all the left over lower buds that would be nothing worth harvesting popcorn kernels and let them go for additional 3 weeks of flower. They get all the light and food that the big part of the plant was getting. It turns out nice as you get 2 harvests out of 1 and while waiting you veg the next round so it ready the day your clean and ready to go.Heres a few screen and bags and jars of the secondary stuff. This was a nice secondary was about 2 1/2 lbs wet its finishing drying and cure but should yield 10-14 oz extra..

i plan on doing this..

i was thinking of lollypopping everything

but i was like... why not just do this?

i think it'll be for the better...

Well my setup is for 28 sites but I leave 4 out for more room but they got top heavy and I was lazy so few fel over and killed 4 more so ended with 20 plants yielding around 3 lbs total.First round stuff was some real 1 hitter quitter. Its a very crystal covered sticky smooth smoke.I like lollipoping in some of my setups but in this bigger setup I let them do what they do.

Nice Fletch, I was inspired by you and just built my own little system hoping to get some nice yield from it.

I think my favorite way is to cut the top 3-4 feet of the plant down on the main stalk leaving a foot or so left with all its lower hidden branches to grow in for another 3 weeks or more if need.I go 2 weeks of flowering feed then flush for 7 days in aero.I then like to hang the cut down bigger part of the plant and give it a good manicure removing all the fan leaves and then putting a box under the plant give a better closer manicure to save all the suagr leaves and trimming for hash later. Itrim the buds on the plants then have 2 lightly blowing fans in the room 1 down lowe blowing up and 1 plant high blowing just lightly across the hanging upside down plants. It depends on the weather and time of year but I hang for 5-9 days depends on the humidity, this is in a dark cooler are. I then like to come in and remove all the buds from the hanging plant and check them for any too much extra leaf and fine manicure.I then put in layers in paper bags from 1-3 days depending again on the weather and how dry the buds got already. Then after the bags they go into jars that get opened once a day for 30 minutes for at least 14 days preferable a month or longer for a good hard cure. All the chlorphel break down is over and the buds are perfect and tastey. Thats my favorite way I think

i appreciate that breakdown on harvest/curing. ive been trying to find out how some veterans do it so it really helps.

man u snapped!!,,,, and im going to take ur advice on the curing as well,,, im on my first grow and have lots coming this will help...... congrats...

dude your awsome.... im so pissed about 15 of my plants just got stolen. so i broke down and bought an aero garden.. im glad to hear that they actually can do that well. i have heard alot of negative stuff about it. soo what should i do about the nutrients i put in the water.. should i just use the stuff it comes with in the tomato kit or buy somthing else???
