second set of leaves not serrated?

throwing plants under a fluorescent isnt bad for veg..hell you could even use a CFL for veg. it doesnt matter but they are right the HPS is the best when it comes to flowering

TK- sorry to hear of your plight, but those don't look like tomatoes to me. I have been growing tomatoes for the last 3 years, and their leaves DO have serrations, not like those of Cannabis, but serrations none the less. I have no idea what those seedlings are. I have plants in my outdoor garden that I can not identify. Welcome to the Plant Kingdom! It's like really really big.

I've finished up to 3 girls under all CFL's and was pleased with the results. I now have a 400 HPS since I got a reflector, bulb and ballast for about $120 including shipping. I now have 3 girls flowering under this unit and they are only about 2+ weeks into 12/12. They are in soil and grown from seed. I think I got some feminzed seeds after a northern lights went hermi and started producing seeds.

Well, at least I can say I gained the experiance of transplanting tiny seedlings/sprouts and making them live :dunno:

:)

I only want to grow like 3-4 plants max, my potential growing area is about 1-1/2 x 4 x 3 feet, so I think something like HPS might be overkill. I read about the light differences though and how HPS's spectrum is more suited to flowering, so ill take that for wat its worth.

Did you Grow it out....it looks like a leaf deformity.... I had some strawberry blue that greww funny for the first couple of leaves....I think it has to do with the genetics and being feminized
