Second Round!

Hey guys
On my second round in my 5x5 tent with 2 600w hps, air/temp exhaust fan, 1x tower fan on swing mode and have just got a portable aircon unit. In there is 4 plants(random seeds) that vegged for about 6-7weeks outside and 5 clones in 1l(i think). They are 8days from 12/12 in 10l buckets with only premium soil and a touch of dolomite lime. Water every 1.5-2days sometimes topping up in between. Watered slowly till water runs into saucers. Feeding seaweed fish liquid once a week and flairform greendreams on the alternate. Topped 2-3times prior to flower and LST just before flip. Where i am its summer with 23-28 degrees celcius during day and 15-18 at night, I'm running my lights at night with temps around 26-27c, during day on off cycle temps are around 22c with aircon, will be getting hygrometer asap to monitor RH and temp. Learnt alot last round from personal experiences/mistakes and on here and got 679grams so looking to improve on that, will try update regularly. Any suggestions or things i could improve on would love the feedback. Cheers

Bit of an update minus photos just yet(camera isnt working). Day 20 stretch is pretty well over, plants look really healthy apart from a pest problem last week some sort of aphid type bug that died with neem oil spray, in first to weeks on stretch i used/alternated between fish/seaweed thrive liquid and flairform greendreams veg with added CMX(calmag) added once to twice a week. Having to water everyday, proper watering every other day and top up in between. Going through heatwave here and have my lights on at night(temps around 30c) and lights off ive got my ac on pumping 16c air into tent giving lights off temp around 22-25c, abit higher than wanting but they seem healthy. My RH is sitting around 57-60%. My aircon has dehum built in so toying wether i turn dehum on during lights on as i need aircon during lights off or get a seperate dehum to run fulltime. Thoughts guys? Will slap up some picks tonight off another camera.

Day 21 before defol under canopy

Day 25 slowly bulking up abit. Temps are pretty high around 30-32c lights on and 25-28c lights off with AC on lights off. For some reason it seems they enjoying the heat. Between 4 12l pots and 5 1l they are going through 20l per day but i may think evaporation may have something to do with it possibly? With heat like that does it restrict bud growth?

Day 25 starting to fill out, smell and trichs are turning up still stretching slightly.

Day 33 from 12/12. Bud development abit slower than i was expecting comparing to first grow. Possibly to do with heat and last time most had preflowered before flip. Temps all over the place abit but reasonably happy with how things are going. Thoughts?

Update, starting feeding bloom nutes around day 14, flairform grrendreams bloom 1 and bud genie, watering around 18l per day feeding every other. Have mixed up feeding alot this time, one feed greendreams bud and genie next seaweed/fish liquid(will stop that now as rating 5-3-2 and weary of N burn? Someone could tell me otherwise) and guano superbloom(1-9-1) CMX(calmag) once a week. Will look into a organic liqiud fert next time will good bloom ratings

Day 35 finally some fattening, bit of supercropping to branches that need/needed it. Temps 26-29c lights on, 19-22c lights humidity 60%, have got an aircon/dehu unit but use the aircon when i need dehu so will look at a seperate dehu possibly or adjusting air exhange,exhaust fan etc. What you guys think about where im at the moment?

Look into VPD and learn a bit about that.
With the higher temps you have, your humidity isnt as bad as you think.
Its in a good place all around imo. Buds are looking great.

Youre counting days from light flip right?
If so youre 7-10 days behind 39 on your flower cycle and probably not even halfway done yet either way.
expect 10-12 weeks from when they start showing flowers, you have plenty of time for them to bulk up. even a very fast strain will be 8 weeks.
Theyre still looking great though. Just keep paying attention to what they want.

Hi,guys I'm wanting grow outside due to problems i can no longer grow indoors, so I'm wanting to do 1 last safe run\ indoor run to collect seeds but I'm needing a male auto but due to space I can't run 10 regular autos to find a male. So my other option is to Hermie a auto fem to pollinate a few auto fems by the silver method but will the seeds be prone to hermie? Because I don't want seedy bud unless I'm doing a seed run. Any ideas or help would be great

No, thats how you make feminized seeds. With 2 females and some CS or other chmical.

Well I guess the answer is actually less as fem seeds are a little bit unstable sometimes and can be more prone to pick up the herm trait. Its usually just a small chance. They get more susceptible to herming under the same conditions.
I guess its different when its stuff like starting from bag seed. Its more on the genetic of the parents being stable.
But what you are describing is the most commonly used process to make fem seeds.
