GERMINATION:

i started them out in the cups there in now with holes at the bottom of course

a couple started out faster others slower as you can tell in the other pictures

however i do not have pics of them sprouting but i basically just planted them in the soil filled to the top

Seedling stage:

it has now been exactly 7 days since sprout they were stretched out at first you can tell wich grew quicker than others.they are on a strict 18/6 light cycle with no interuppeted darkness.

watering is done sparingly

by the way the bulb im using has increased blue spectrum

ive never seen anyone use an hps four the whole grow cycle so i will be checking in on this... im sure with this being your second grow and using the supplies you have youll yeild nice results.. i have a couple tips feel free to take em or leave em.. with the intensity of that light i wouldnt mist the plant itself like you can do for seedlings under flouros.. but definatly keep the top layer of soil moist... and you might want to use a plastic straw or maybe just bury the seedling thats stretching on the far right.. it doesnt look that badly stretched but it sure is tall!! so maybe just as a precaution.. good work man happy growing!!

no definatly dont trash em they look fine.. the little ones will most likley turn out to be females as the males tend to grow very rapidly so give them the same amount of tlc as the rest of those little ones. id say in another 2-4 days youll be able to water them regularly once every 2-3 days.

They always look underwatered to me. You can give them a little more water as a seedling, it will dry out quick on this containers.

I am currently growing mine under an increased blue spectrum HPS , 600W because the metal halide crapped out.

Be patient , once they get one or two sets of leaves, the growth will double, every day.

cool cool man.. looking good you are doing pretty much everything right!! as for the runt. be patient for some reason it takes a while for them to get through their pre vegitative growth stage but once they hit vegitative they grow into monsters over night!! nice looking seedlings though very healthy and i like how you mounted up the soil to prop up the stretched seedlings!! im willing to place a five dollar bet that your runt is going to be a female!! so take care of her!!
