Second Grow.. This time i'm gonna try a bubbler :)

Well it's been awile since i posted here but i'm always lurking

Anyways this time round i thought i would dip into the world of water and picked up a bubbler pot to see how i get on. These pics are a couple of weeks into veg and i added the bubbler two days ago.

I have five plants in total which are all uk cheese clones.

Had to move the soil ones out into the other room due to my hydro girl getting to big

Anyways she is now 1 week into flower heres a pic for you.

damn.....that is a big plant! looks real healthy too. how big is your space? did you top/trim at all or just let it grow out? i've found that when i let my girls just grow out like that i get a lot of fluffy popcorn buds growing from the bottom of the plant and my main cola isn't as big as i would want.

I made it from a 5 gal bucket and a fish tank bubbler, its really working well, they are 28 days old and are really growing :bigjoint:

I bought a 5 gallon bucket, i wanted it to say home depot but had to settle for lowes, i drilled 1/4 in hole at the top rim of the bucket, this is so the air pump hose can go in the bucket, put the hose thru the 1/4 in hole and connect it to a 12 in air stone for a fish tank, buy the lid at a hydro store the come ready to put ur plant in,keep the water level 2 in from the roots of your plants at first and watch em take off, total cost of the bucket less than 20 $ if you need any help hit me up :wall:

p.s these are my girls at 4 weeks

Because it was my first atempt at dwc i decided not to top and only trim. Your probably right that my main cola won't be as big but hey for my first time i don't mind

And your right she is realy healthy, no yellowing or dead leaves yet (fingers crossed) I'll update some pics in the next few days as the buds are realy starting to form now and looking great.

uk cheese... they sativa dominant?

I think but may be wong. The uk cheese is a skunk 1 pheno which is mostly sativa. If i am wrong i'm sure someone will correct me. I know for sure tho it smells like nothing else and has a knockout high

Forgot to say how big my space is. I'm using a 1.25x1.25 budbox for flowering with a 400hps. I use a smaller 75x75 for the smaller veg plants with x 250 cfl.

Feed wise for my hydro girl i've been using Vitalink A+B and Bio bizz bloom during flower. Ph has been between 5.8 and 6.2 the whole gro. Humidity was kept between 40-60% during veg and is now hovering just above 30% in flower. Temps are controlled and sit at 82 during lights on and drop to 68-70 during lights off.

It's a 16ltr oxy pot. I'll be honest i'm not sure what my ec is at mo because she drinks the 16ltr's so quick (3-4days) So basicly everytime she's almost empty i start again with a fresh 16ltr's ofwater and add 4ml of A and 4ml of B per ltr. If the ph is between 5.8 - 6.2 i leave it and only ajust it if it's outside that range.
