Second grow ever 300w true led grow tent DWC

Hey there I'm new to Riu and thought I'd post a grow log

I'm currently on my second grow from seed the strain is La Blanca Gold from vision seeds its a really potent strain and did well for me last time despite having root rot all the way through flower.

This time tho the plant is a little Over a month old had some trouble with root rot in the beginning but all seemed to of worked itself out.

The strain must be prone to rot in Dwc because I'm running 30w of air pumps in the water I'm talking like serious water movement in one 5 gal bucket and still she got rot....

I'm using canna vega a+b for veg with silica and zyme from cyco haven't decided what nutes to use for flower yet, I also have a product called pythoff to help fight rot if need be.

I'm usin a 5 gal bucket that's insulated and using ICe water bottles to keep temps below 70f to try to deter rot.

I have a huge 20cm airstone hooked up to my 20lpm pump an then a small airstone hooked up to my 10lpm all seems to be lookin good so far things are starting to recover

I would stay away from zyme in the res. Creats a breeding ground for bacteria. I use a DIY pool shock formula to keep things sterile. Hth shock n swim level 3 shock. Non ph buffered. Mix 1 to 1.5 grams hth shock n swim into 1 gal water. Use the soulution with every top off or every 3 days. Use at 3ml per gallon in your res. You can use stronger doses, up to 7ml prr gallon. You can use daily at 1ml per gal if you have a fucked situation.


My cyco recipe basics- 30gal REZ
!!!!!RO WATER!!!!!
Cyco grow a/b
Cyco Uptake
Cyco Silica as a foliar(dont use in the rez)- 15ml/liter not ph'd
Canna rhizotoni as a foliar(dont use in the rez)- 25ml/liter not ph'd
B1 boost
Botanicar CalMag plus- 2.5ml/gal
DIY shock- 3ml/gal with every feed, top off or every 3 days.

I dont give any numbers on the the cyco grow a/b, uptake, and b1 boost because your plants and environment may not like what i do....ppm to 500 and work your way up. Start with adding your calmag first, check the ppm and add nutes untill you get to 500 ppm to 600ppm. PH 6.0


Cyco recommends your ppms be upward of 1000 to 1500 the whole time in veg. ...kinda cray for me, to hot. Easy to go wrong and can have a lot of salt build up. I recomend half and go from there. Use multiple pots to try different nute strengths with your strain to find the sweet spot.
