I have one plant that right now is under 2 - 100 watt equivalent cfl lightbulbs. It is in a solo cup and will most likely stay in it because I plant to keep it somewhat micro. But that is not for sure yet still. Also of course i have a fan to keep the air constantly moving. By the way roots are comeing out of the bottom of the cup.. any suggestions(besides the obvious transplant)?

those CFLs are not 100 watt equivalent. That is marketing gimmick.. read the REAL wattage for that. Looks like 26 or something. Also, you need the BLUE spectrum for veg those look like red. Read up some. I feel it will help tremendously instead of trial and error.

read up on spectrum's, lumen's, SCROG and nute cycles.

I was not aware of the gimmick but I do agree with everything else you said. Im already aware and you are correct they are the red but I'm not to worried because I'ok be switching over to 12/12 at week 3. I'm not worried about errors I'm just growing cheap and small right now because it's more of a learning experience. Thanks for the advice though.

try putting a ziplock bag full of soil around the bottom of the cup. or you could place your cup inside a slightly bigger cup with soil in it that way the roots can spread. keep us updated:)
