Hope it all goes well in Wa. and Co.
Step closer to legalization Nation wide. Maybe in my life time.
Nothing wrong with hoping.

This is truly amazing, a great step in the right direction and I can see this spreading in the near future to other states.

I think the new laws state that you aren't allowed to be under the influence of marijuana while at work, just like your aren't allowed to be drunk at work. Hopefully that will deter people, but it won't all of them, just like how people still come smashed to work.

Woohooo, wooohoooo, finally. I never thought I'd live to see even a portion of what has been happening. Please make it legal before I die.

Shit I should never have gotten this drunk.

i'm waiting to see how the fed's are going to handle this.. something tells me that they're not all of a sudden roll over to state law and have nothing to say or do about this in one way or another..
i'd bet things are going to get rather interesting rather quickly in those states, and not for the better either..

Things gotta get worse before they get better I suppose. Even though the ridiculous arrest and charges more and more lately are in the category of getting worse. Once enough people agree with the legalization, which is happening like a snowball down a mountain, the feds won't be able to do a damned thing about it, unless they want to take on the majority of the nation. In that case let em, they'll lose.

and i'm sure the people of cali. feel the same way, hasn't stopped feds from busting dispensaries and growers in that state... idk, they just need to reschedule it and get it over with, but until that time, i see the dea and the feds playing hard ball, why would they do anything differently?

Maybe we should send them gifts, small nick-nacks and goodies to sway them and get on their good side. :eyesmoke:

I don't think it being legal nationwide is ever going to happend, people are getting their hopes up,and I too can't wait to see how feds step in,and what they have to say.

That's awesome that they are dismissing cases. I was wondering about that. As far as The Feds go, they're not going to let you fuck with their money. If they ask you to buy a stamp, be wary.

The feds are on tight ropes now actually. Two states, same timing. Obama is president, so the conservatives have less power

there won't be much money provided to fund a drug war on both states with him in office.

it's too late for them now imo, as long as baracks in charge for another 4 years weed will become socially acceptable to the majority the general public will understand the culture enough to the point where the DEA won't have any public support for raids.

no conservatives in power .......no public support
