The amount of information in Rollitup.Org is huge. Finding an answer to your question is already in the forums because somebody else had your problem too and got an answer. But where is it?
The search function in the forums doesn't seem to work, so there is another way to find it: Google Search
If you just type in "carbon filter" into Google Search, you'll get search results for the whole WWW. So we will use a special search parameter Google has provided - site:
If we type in: site:rollitup.org "carbon filter" we get only search results inside of RIU.
If you have a particular thread you want to search, go to that thread and notice that in the address bar, the thread has a number. For instance, Al B. Fuct's thread - Get A Harvest Every 2 Weeks - (197 pages) has in the address bar:
www.rollitup.org /hydroponics-aeroponics/6592-get-harvest-every-2-weeks.html
See the thread number 6592?
So let's look up what is said about carbon filters in Al's thread and type in the Google search bar:
site:rollitup.org 6592 "carbon filter"
Now we have only the results of the words carbon filter in Al's thread.
Give it a try and find your answer.....

This is a great tool for newbies with all the questions. There are a lot of great folks willing to help anybody, but I know they get tired of answering the same questions over and over again.
I'm a newbie and I have been reading for over 6 months and I am now just feeling confident enough to start my first grow. I've learned how to set up a room, what equipment to buy and use, chosen a particular grow method, and what to expect on a daily basis. It's all there. You should live through others' experiences for a while before you venture in to growing.
Every newbie owes it to himself, to our mentors, and to that wonderful God-given plant to do it right.
