I'm going to switch to a sea of green method. But, I need to know what size containers would would. For example i have about 100 6"x6" black pots that are square.

Link to what i am talking about below.

Wold i be able to get 1/2 to 1 ounce like all the books suggest? Strain aside of course. And should i go at 4 per square foot, or 1 per square foot? I am not running a veg at all just a flower room and will be starting right after the clones have roots.

Sure, those would work. I tried a handful of them (with soil) a little while ago...for the same purpose as you - I was considering switching to sog but didn't know what pot size would be optimal. They worked out fine. Doing 4/sq. ft will certainly be crowded...but that's the idea behind sog, and with a strain that's suited specifically for sog-type growing (which I didn't have), and little to no veg time (and assuming you have adequate lighting, ventilation, etc.), I'm confident that you could achieve 0.5 to 1 oz in these pots. However, if you try growing the wrong strain at 4/sq ft, you may have problems, so I would choose carefully if you decide to go with that kind of plant density.

btw, I also used these pots to keep several mothers (again, in soil) for over a year, with no problems, and they provided me with more good cuttings than I could use during that period.

Dam, thank you. I've got Aurora Indica, AK-48, Northern Lights #5, Orange Krush, Orange Bud, Blueberry, Jack Herer, White Widow, and Afgan Kush (the afga gets real tall so i'll be nixing that strain)
