Search warrent question

Hey guys now I know the most simple rule they can't come in without permission/warrent but say I left my grow on with a timer and I went on holiday and say someone tipped them off I was growing they wouldn't be able to enter my home but would they be able to easly obtain a search warrent just off a simple tip ?

Yes! Be very careful with neighbors. The police see neighbors ratting you out as being a witness to a crime in progress. If you live in a state where it is illegal to grow..your neighbors phone call is treated as a person reporting a crime! The light is definite cause along with the phone call. I KNOW this as a lifelong friend works for the sheriffs dept. I DO NOT SPREAD RUMORS ON RIU! I am here to share and help out. Good luck! Grow in peace!

Sorry, Didn't notice the U.K. thing till just now..

I'm sure the law is quite similar in this sense though

I'm from Southern California so I am a registered "medical"(ha ha) grower and patient. I made it a point to notify my 2 side neighbors so there will be no surprises in the future. My one neighbor is another patient(who I grow for) and the other just smokes cigarettes. The one that smokes cigarettes did not mind after I showed him my license and a pic of my small grow.(6 plants). I brought over a bottle of wine for him and his wife and we had a GREAT talk!

i understand your question, but not the reason why you're asking it?? do you just mean that there will be a light on in your house when you're gone, and you don't want neighbors wondering why it's on when no one is home m8??

if not, i'm a bit lost...
