Sea of Seeds reputation

I ordered from SoS about the same time as you and seeds arrived in 8 days. But, it is troubling to read all the reports of people who can't even get a response. Since October I've ordered twice from marijuana-seeds.nl. They've been great. They lost their ability to accept credit cards about the same time SoS did. My second order was with a bank wire transfer. There were problems because the instructions had the wrong account name. m-s.nl worked with me to figure it out, and deducted the wire transfer fee from the amount of my order. They responded to every email by the next day.

I posted my experiences here and here. I think the only downside to these guys is that they don't disclose the breeder. But, stuff's growing great. Haven't harvested/smoked yet.
I gave up on them in the end. They didn't respond for over a month, and when they did, they said they couldn't find the money transfer on their system. They would ask for the details of the bank transfer, which I would give them. I would get no response until I prompted them. They would say they still couldn't find it, and asked me to send them a copy of the transfer statement, which I wasn't prepared to do, but I would give them the relevant details on the statement, and again would get no response until I prompted them again. In the end I cut my losses and went with herbies. I got prompt responses and received my order in just over a week. Would definitely not recommend SOS. From reading around, it seems as though my country doesn't have a great strike rate with customs, so maybe they just decided to not bother shipping orders here as they have had to resend to many. Bit of a dog act if that's the case.

Any satisfied customers thr ordered from Sea of seeds . . . Fast shippig, discret, healthy beans anything????
I have purchased multiple times from SoS. They send beans in original breeder's pack, inside a dvd case, and usually arrives in 10-14 days. I live in the eastern United States.

no site update since 2013, EM has been away for months and no credit card service.I wonder whats the situation with their database, is it secured? They did have a great service for a while, but I wouldn't order from them considering the above.

I believe the site developer uses a script for the daily deals that updates automatically every 24 hrs

Looks like they removed the thing about credit card payments.

Didnt they take bit coin at one point of time? Now they dont. Real sad they went down and EM is no longer around.

no need for insults Hank, I'm aware that they do not take CCs anymore as mentioned by EM several pages back.
still, they neglected to remove it from their FAQ which I pointed out.

Final comment: stay away from SoS for the time being.

They stop taking CC and bit-coins... they only take bank transfers and cash VIA mail... yeah, as much as I have wanted to try them out i'm going to just forget about them now. sucks as they have some classic old strains I want! :/

If you knew a little more about mtgox or bitcoins you would know that it actually had very little impact.. Coinbase price has actually inched back up over 6 and has held relatively steady.. There is a thirst for a bitcoin like currency.. Mtgox was just run by a fugn fool..

Edit: RIP to the first seed bank I ordered from..
