so im curious what the benefits are to scrogging, and if it's worth the effort to do it

Well my first grow I grew three ladies without lst and scrog and got 3oz of usable smoke and my second grow I grew 2 plants with lst and scrog( with no experience)and got 4oz of usable smoke. I'm in my third grow and definitely think I will exceed my last harvest. So with that said you can have less plants by maximizing the canopy and creating more flower sites.

Max yield for the space.
Maximum bud production efficiency.
Forest of buds.

I have to say I'm glad I started scrog and LST cause shaping the ladies to how I want is really cool. Cannabis Bonsai!!
