Scrog?

Hey im going to be doing a SCROG and was wondering how mant plants should i grow in a 2x1.5' area, my light is a 300w dual spectrum cfl how much will i yeild approx?

It depends on a few things, how far your screen is from the ground, how long you veg your plants, and how you train them. but i would say 1 or 2 if you give them a little time to veg in your situation. Personally, i like to start lsting them from a young age and top once its the size you want. scrog is nice once your in flowering because theres not much to do. However watering can be kind of a pain unless you have a nice rez with a pump and hose. and as far as the cfl thing goes you can grow good herb under them but you should try running a 400 watt in the future and see how it compares. i use cfls in my mother/veg tent.

why would you LST and then top? it kinda defeats the purpose of LST'ing .................. as far as the SCROG thing goes ima try it my next grow ive done regular topping and LST and the results that ive gotten with my LST is incredible

i concur, lsting is the way to go. with 2 plants shit. check this, i saw this ghetto setup a college buddy of mine made with shit in his apt. he took a 3 gal. trashcan he had, which was cleaned and disinfected and put mg organic and a bag of perlite. then he took a box fan he had which wasnt in use, took off the cover on both sides. cut a rectangular section in the middle out and placed trash can, he held it in place using zip ties and drilling holes on the edge of the trashcan. he also drilled holes in the bottom for drainage. this is really fucking easy to do, and with proper preparation takes little time and works super fkin well. once the plants tall enough to bend to the edge of the trash can, bend it over and tie down. twist ties work best imo, because there cheap and reusable, plus you can adjust them. you cant reuse or adjust zip ties, and plants grow so readjustment is a must.its like scrog in a way, but more like lsting over a screen, or fan shield in this case. How big will the buds get aprox above the screen? how far should i put the screen above the plant pots about 5"?

depends when you flip them to 12/12 you don't want your screen to get overgrown. you could do it at 5 inches but at 5" theres not much side branching going on. i would lst them for awhile before you put them under a screen, it cant hurt it if you put it under at 5" tho. and as far as toping and lsting, i lst for awhile, then top, then supercrop. the trifecta of training. i let my plants get about 5-6 inches above the screen before i flip, when i flip i trim the undergrowth, then they strech out.
