SCROG Trim while in flower??

Hey guys, About 4-5 weeks into flowering and I am wondering if I did this scrog grow right? I've noticed lots of people trim, but I'm not sure if I should at this point. I have quite a few "popcorn" buds as you can see. Would I get anything out of trimming them at this point?

Any advice would be appreciated

from what i learnt about scrog your supposed to keep bending the tops under the scrog net, you need to keep bending the tops under so that the branches that come out of the nodes come up through the scrog, creating many tops, thats the way i have learnt it at least, im sure someone will correct if im mistaken

Yeah man that's no scrog. That's a plant supported by a screen. Big difference.

Either way, the answer to your question is no. No trimming is neccsary for your plant. Next time you weave the branches into the screen. But it's too late for that now.

just add a few CFLs below the screen and you should be fine, next time you need to start training alot earlier

it is clear from the pics that the bits at the bottem are getting low amount of light, these bits will produce popcorny buds and use up some of your plants energy, rip em all of, plant wil focus energy towards the top and the buds at the top wil begin to fatten up more! plus these buds at the top, once they become larger, they are going to retain more weight in the longrun ! pinch the buds of , and try keep the the fan leafs, i think this is best advice from what i have learnt from reading on this site

Click the link in my sig for a proper scrog. The plant is supposed to be trained into the screen and everything below the screen should be trimmed.

at this stage..

you might be able to LST some of the branches..

tie and lower it down -- try to get it to the popcorn buds and have an even canopy.

you can then lower the screen and attempt the scrog (weave the branches up and over the squares.

subbed and following.
