scrog question

just reading up on scrogging, they keep talking about not letting vegetation grow through the fence/screen

is this only in veg? I'm assuming you let shoots grow up through during the stretch in flower right?

Yes, i don't do scrog...YET, but from what ive gathered, you keep all the growth under the screen, and then let them grow up to desired height, then flip to 12/12. Then they will stretch and fill out during flowering.
