SCROG question

iv looked around, but couldnt find the info i wanted.

how far from the soil should the scrog screen be? im trying my first scrog, but trying something i havent seen done before, i will post pics if it works out. might take a few weeks.

well depends what amount of indica vs sativa in the strain your growing. if its mostly or all indica mostly i see ppl it around 10-12 inches off soil level. for sativas around 18 inches.

this thread is pretty massive, but theres a lot of pretty good info especially for beginners, look at other peoples grow journals that do scrog and that will give you a bit better understanding as well.

enough room to prune underneath screen. 8-12", imo. get long shears, they make ScrOG pruning easier.
