Scrog question

Just finally started another grow, had 4 fem seeds I got with seeds I bought so I decide to germinate them and they all took. I have 3 good size plants started and a smaller one, would you guys just take the smaller one out?
I hate to pull plants but I know in the end it could be for the best

I should mention my tent is 4x4x7

another quick question,
I usually pluck the top of my plant to “top them” but I’m gonna cut with scissors, 7927CF17-DDBC-4C21-ADF3-FCD4E9A3ED76.jpeg

do cut it right there by my finger?
 
If run the little one. 3 plants in a square is hard to get even canopy IME.

For topping the plant. You can do it anywhere.
But if you want to do it at the very top. Cut it just above the two new top shoots coming out at the stem of the fan leaf. Leave about a 1/4” to 1/2” stubb above. Gives them some meat to heal. And not split when you bend them in the screen.
 
I left the little plant
And topped the big ones.
Couple more days and ill Put the screen on. Disadvantages of having a Rubbermaid for my dwc I can’t spread them out good

Live and learn. Been there after running a single 5 gallon DWC. That and running in a bathtub. It fit. Gave it away after running it once. Way too many roots.

I’ve been running the Rubbermaid dwc for about 6 or 7 years now, it’s the only way I’ve grown, I’m averaging roughly 2 pounds per grow in my 4x4x7 tent

I’m gonna try to train and scrog my plants a little better this time to see if I can bump that up a little bit

You’ll bump it up. Especially with some practice.

Get a few bulkheads and a water pump, make yourself a RDWC
So much less work and maintaince
