Would you happen to have his old plans/blueprints/diagrams to look at? The thread I found has every pic removed, just the text remains.. and I also see he's selling an ebook of his secrets.

I just did a look an wasn't really impressed, actually my eyes rolled. I found him trying to sell ideas and ebooks. Icmag has the pictures and diagrams still up, but I didn't see anything I thought was going to help me. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looked like he was preaching hydro an nothing else, cuz that's all I saw. Granted I only looked for like a min but I'm not looking for a hydro grow, I already know that's a way to increase yield and beyond that he's just putting plants into flower every 3 weeks right? Surely there must be more to it then "go hydro an run perpetual" at any rate if I WENT BACK TO GROWING HYDRO I'd use a dwc system with 5-10 g buckets per plant.

Personaly I'm a fan of soil more then hydro, I've flooded a diff house like 10 times when I was all hydro growing in a 8 site water farm an a bunch of homemade systems made from totes.

He actually is currently working with organic soils with his latest ventures because that is what his patients asked him to try. His system is a hybrid Aero/ NFT setup that doesn't require you to keep mothers and consistently pulls weight. He runs 3 of the aero nft hybrids and harvests one every 3 weeks for a pound or more, then cleans the system and refills it from a compact veg unit. It makes for a constant flow of plants and no need to keep mothers. One of the biggest keys to his system and he'll tell you this is the feed cycle, he feeds for one minute and then they rest for 5 minutes and repeat all day. It creates a very high nute to air ratio and causes explosive growth.

Sorry Fig I don't have any of the pages bookmarked or any pdfs saved. 99 % of the usefull info is in the first 50 pages of the journal. The last 10-15 also hold some newer versions and updates. He has always posted all his builds, specs, blue prints, everything for free. Whether he chose to also offer more consolidated info in a book form for a cost , I'm not gonna slight the guy for trying to make some money too, because its all in the thread anyway you just have to weed through all the pages. He has recently posted (a few pages from the end) some updated versions of the units he is currently using. As I said he is also working with organic SS I think he said a version of subcools mix. Stink is a very ernest and caring person if you take a chance to get to know him( as well as you can online, but I've been talking to stink since 08 so I feel like I kinda do), his patients are what its all about for him.

Anyway I'll stop shouting his praises, if you aren't interested in going hydro then the soil stuff isn't anything special persay.(very nice just not innovative or anything)

Thanks thundercat that's helpful I'll do some actual reading on it since my first impression was a bit dismissive. As it currently stands I buy my clones so I don't use mothers or a veg area, I just buy cuts, veg them in flower positions for a few weeks then turn the lights to 12/12

Final dry weight was 830g of great nugs, a sandwich bag of nugs for joints, and about a 1/2 oz of buds I'm going to leave on the table an trim it as I want to smoke

So I managed to pull 1 an 3/4 pounds from ONE INDOOR PLANT. The rest of the room did ok, many of my plants where a bit on the small side though and I'm really surprised I only averaged 3 oz on some of my plants in 10 g containers, that strain really under performed but it did give me a+ nugs just very few of them.


My next run is already vegging, I had put some outside because I didn't have room for them an are about 3 weeks into flower from the short daylight. I'm going to attempt to put them back in veg by giving them 24 hour light for 2 weeks then flowering by the end of the month I hope. This time I'm going to get over 2 lbs from one Alaska thunderfuck. I can't see getting under 2 if I grow it like did this northern lights because ATF has been a comparably high yielder, so the goal will be 2-3 lbs, from one plant, indoors.



Wonder what I could grow outside?

I'm bout to buy a new set of digital ballasts and I'm leaning toward the xxxl ocho hoods, anyone have any comments or warnings? I found a good deal on some cheap digi's for 150 each, I would bet cheap parts were used but does it matter? I've heard of bulb firing issues does matching the hz to bulb fix issues?
