No, I am not a "truther". Obama himself said that he was born in Kenya. It was part of Barack Obama's personal literary biography. I didn't say Barack was born in Kenya, Barack himself said it. This is not a right wing lie, it is a simple regurgitation of fact. Barry used it in his literary bio as a means to give himself some pizazz and zip, at least that is my opinion. Based on Barack Obama's own recitation of his birth place I believe he said the very same thing in his application to Harvard, and... it WORKED! He was admitted to Harvard Law despite his mediocre grades at Occidental.
Who could resist such a compelling story of overcoming long odds, yada, yada, yada... Harvard's admission committee is notoriously susceptible thrills running up their legs and they loves them some diversity as long as it does not reflect any diversity of thought or opinion, just like you progs here at RIU.

Barry's literary bio ran from 1991 till 2007 and stated that he was born in Kenya. In April of 2007 it was changed to say that he was born in Hawaii. Either it was a simple typo that nobody noticed for 16 years (LOL), or it was a lie, or it was the truth. My vote goes with a lie.

Most presidents have been "outed". Barry's academic mediocrity is a deep secret though. Personally, I don't care about his undoubtedly poor undergraduate grades, I am interested in his birth place claims. FOR SIXTEEN YEARS, his literary bio claimed he was born in Kenya. That was a well practiced lie. I am confident he used it at Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard as well.

If his literary bio claimed he was born in Kenya, and it did, then indeed Barry himself wrote it. It ran for sixteen years and was only "corrected" when the truth, or the lie as it's impossible to tell when dealing with Obama, was politically troublesome. The only real question is which version is a lie, Kenya or Hawaii. Which one do you think was a lie?
I prefer to roll around in the mud with you, UB, hence no real interest, neither now nor in the past, to join a group.
It doesnt mean Obama wrote it, what it does mean is that at the very least, he held himself out to be a native of Kenya in order to gain advantage through purported disadvantage. People just don't make that shit up. I remember in my law school all the professors and administration had their bios on display. I doubt they personally wrote them, but they were written based on information they provided in their cv, application, resume, conversations, and many other documents.
At the very worst, we have a foreign born president setting in the oval office.
If that is the case, I hope it is never discovered, as it would lead to a cluster fuck. Would all the laws president Obama has signed to become law become void? Would they need to be resigned? Perhaps voted on again in the congress?
It would be to much of a mess to fathom.
