All true, I suppose. I doubt any prosecutor would charge a person absent some "real" physical evidence though. Terpenes on a swab, or smoke in a bottle won't cut it. I doubt terpenes are even illegal, but I don't know that for sure.
Without some growing plants, or some pot in hand, I don't see charges being brought.
You are absolutely correct about never letting a cop in your home, car, etc. Nothing good can come of it.
if they decide you are Drugs kingpin, they can charge you for having cocaine residue on the money in your wallet
Protip: almost all US currency has detectable traces of cocaine on it.
