That is about the worst advise I've ever heard.
Cops make their money using the Barnum effect. If you take his advice, you're a sucker. So, yeah, you're just a "mark."
Repeat after me, "I was advised not to answer that question." "I was advised not to let you enter." "I was advised not to open the door." Etc. Either they'll let you go and leave, or you're arrested. Unless a lawyer is present, their "promises" mean squat.

so, i go to the local PD to show my outrage at having 3 detectives trying to scare and trick me into letting them in my home because they received a "tip", per my attorney..as it turns out, they ARE the local undercover..hmmmm very interesting..i talked to 2 sergeants and was told to never let anyone in your home you are unsure of..they gave me a copy of the call record and their direct superior which i'm going to forward to my attorney.

I would of just dumped the goodies and layed low. Usually if they have nothing they tire of coming after you in short time.

My humble advice ... Just flush the plants and be sober for a month. Order your supplies on ebay and don't worry about moving. Probably nobody ratted you out, by the sound of it the guy in the store was being watched or listened to or something. Or maybe he's in trouble and did rat you out. No one should talk to hydro store people specifically about mj. I talk about my grow and plants in the store without ever mentioning exactly what type of plant it is. And don't answer your door for cops ever again. Don't answer unless you're expecting someone. All they can do is stand out there and knock till their hands fall off. But if cops did knock on the door and if I wasn't legal, I'd be busy flushing plants, not even sure if they were there to talk about plants. Those plants aren't worth any trouble with the law, or losing a job, or having trouble getting a job, or having your name in the paper, or getting raped in jail ... etc.
They are just plants. Don't let them become more than that.

my attorney will do what he thinks is correct.
