Scared shitless

Tomorrow I have open bypass gastric surgery and at this point I'am terrified out of my mind. I'am sure everything will be fine but this is the first time I've ever had anything done surgically. So, if you guys would, please say a prayer for me and keep me in your thoughts.

Peace

I've been sliced open a few times. Nothing to be afraid of, if you wake up you wake up but if you don't well you will never know about it.

I know it is hard, but try and relax. Focus on how much better everything will be in a few months.

I just had surgery not long ago. I fell and broke my left arm near the shoulder and they had to put screws in my bones to keep it together. I was really nervous about it too, I was always scared of being put under for fear that i might not wake up or that i would wake up at the wrong time. but i have to tell you when i went under i didn't know anything until I started to wake up after the surgery. the weirdest thing is when you start to wake up its like being in deep water and trying to swim up to the surface, its a strange feeling but when you realize that its over and your ok its the best feeling in the world. so hang in there and you'll be relieved and so happy its done with. :)
