Scairid flies

I made a post asking for help because my plant hasn't been drinking the water or nutes.
I got replies telling me to check for scairid flies I think they are also called fungus gnats I did notice some adults fling around are there any good simple and cheap tricks besides that my plant looks fairly healthy and it my first grow. It is 29" inches tall and I started my 12/12 cycle for flowering 4 days that's also when she stopped drinking and how worried should I be about this. Thanks in advance for any help

BTi in your water for larvae. Sticky traps for adults.

Thanks but what is bti I have put potatoe slices on top of soil and sticky traps I have been reading about using hydrogen peroxide is that helpful I am growing in my garage are their any other bugs I should worry about

BTi would be a product like Gnatrol. try it out, cheap and works wonders.
