SC Labs Highest THC/CBD content

Just wondering if anyone has a list of the highest THC/CBD strains ever tested by SC labs. It would be nice if weedmaps/sc labs would let you search for strains by cannabinoid content but i dont think they do. A local dispensary (CCSC melrose) just had 4 of my strains tested, the highest coming in at 27.4% THC which blew me away. I know the lab results dont really tell you anything substantial about smoke quality but its sure does a hell of a job boosting egos . So anyway let me start with my recent results.....

1) Axiom - 27.4% THC
2) GHost OG - 26.6% THC
3) LA Dub 24.2% THC
4) Jack Tripper 22.6% THC

Btw, these strains were all ran in RDWC, and the most important factor in increasing cannabinoid content(in my opinion), is atmosphere control. If you can control temperature, CO2 and humidity you can maximize your genetics potential.

They might.
Why don't you ask them?

Those are very impressive results.
Would you care to share any more specific tips for achieving such high potency?

PJ - Jack Tripper is actually a straight jack herer with a name change.

Good idea, ill send them an email.

I dont really have any more specifics in terms of cultivation but obviously having your own breeding projects helps immensely. The axiom strain is Mary OG x Ak x Pre98 Bubba. I was trying to create a strain with the vigor, density and trich production of the pre98 bubba and the kick of an OG. The axiom isnt exactly where I want it to be yet but its getting there....still lacking a bit in aroma.

Which one is the standard % that people go by..cause I thought thca was the high one that isnt really applicable. Like there is thc, thca and total thc, and the thca and total thc were always higher than the first number. Just asking cause I had some stuff tested but they said to ignore the high ones,it was the lower one that clubs go by. Anyways..awesome sounding strains hymem ,congratulations!

PJ - Thanks for the link. Those are insane numbers!!

Swerve - It looks like someone bested your alien by a few percentage points. See PJ's link. http://www.sclabs.com/sample-details.html?task=sample&sample=120928i051.
Btw, Im using your Larry O.G as one of my daddys. Got a pack from my boy a few years back. Its a hardy bastard and drops tons of jizz. Good work on that one.

BustinScales - Thanks for the props bro. You are correct about THCa....To be honest SC labs is not the most accurate lab. I would say Werc Shop does a better job in terms of true science. THCa is the natural form on the plant but its not what you get when you smoke. Once you burn or vaporize your bud THCa breaks down to THC. Since THC weighs 87% of THCa, THC max values are typically less than THCa. For example if we took the Girl Scout Cookies sample that PJ Diaz linked us to, we would get a different number:

According to Werc Shop: Girl Scout Cookies - 26.2% THCa, 2.4% THC so we take .87*26.2 + 2.4 = 25.19% Max THC. (Comes in more than 3% points lower than SC Labs) but is a more accurate number in terms of measuring potency.

You guys know that there is plenty of variation of the cannabinoid profile within any strain out there. Just because you're growing a strain that tested at 25%+ THC by another grower doesn't mean that your buds will test anywhere near that high, unless of corse you're growing a clone of the exact plant that was tested. Some strains can have drastic swings in their cannabinoid profile. For example two seeds taken from the same bud grown side by side in the same grow room, one plant may produce 24% THC while the other only produces 1% THC.

They also have a recent test for some Acapulco Gold I ran at 25.5% THC.
