Sativas that don't cause anxiety?

Everyone saying tangie is totally spot on. At least through my experience, anything with cali-o genetics or orange skunk are amazing daytime sativas for depression and anxiety. Jillybean put a smile on my face every damn day without any anxiety whatsoever. Running agent orange now and think I snagged a very melvin-dominant pheno so I'm psyched.

I think everyone at some point experiences this. I used to get that way but I found that focusing on something gets your mind off of thinking "OMG I'M GONNA DIE".....

Watch a movie, play a game or start talking to someone about a subject you're interested in. I soon find myself calm and chilled out enough to ride the wave. Anxiety is truly a mental thing that you can control if you discipline your mind. That's not to say you won't ever feel that way but it does help you regain control once the rabbit hole opens

Chernobyl from TGA genetics really helped me stay up and get shit done and talk to people, was total antisocial destroyer for me. I'm not sure how sativa she is, but I think it is mostly sativa. I smoked it for a while, but never grew her, until now, nothing in flower yet. I really really loved the chernobyl effect. My kind of shit.

Peak Seeds BC Sweet Skunk is very nice that way. Never get those panic peaks. No shakes or anxiety but rather motivation and arroused curiosity and the ability to do things you need to do or want to do.

Cali orange or cali orange x skunk would fit this bill ime i agree with the others who suggest that the most important thing is just stay away from anything like amnesia and most hazes especially nevils lol Malawi is a no no and thai as well tbh i prefer indicas as it helps with sleep but i like the edgy sativa shit too when i got the time for it but i dont react to it like some do

I always like to have some good orange terps among my stash strains too. I have a trop cookies BX from Tiki that should be good, tangie flavor with an og nose. One of the next strains for me will be the FDM Cinderella 99 F4s, which are supposed to be 50% citrus phenos. Some Congolese strains I've tried have those same tangerine/pineapple terps. Orange strains from the Cali O lineage do ten to have really uplifting/positive low anxiety effects. I don't get any anxiety from Strawberry Cough either, despite having respectable Haze genetics.

Funnily enough i got some c99 x strawberry cough but idk how people who aint that into sativas react to the c99 part some might not like it il agree strawberry coughs tasty and pretty mellow tho your right there

Double jam be easy to get still but i wouldnt say proper lambsbread in pure form is if you have it and its legit your very lucky yeah jamaican strains are nice and uplifting ime and idk about zamal thats a bit trippy for some great strain imo tho

I think the anxiety comes from harvesting too early. Sativas generally take about 15 weeks to flower. Drying too quickly and not curing correctly will do it too. At least that has been my experience.

Cinderella 99 isn't good for people that don't like/aren't used to smoking sativas....they'll love the flavor for sure....but when the effects kick in, it's gonna be too much for them lol....definitely a strain that's in your head and psychoactive....when I haven't smoked it in a while, it's racey....when I'm used to it, it's not.....but it's also a no ceiling type of strain so it takes a long time to get used to it

Got some Kingdom Organic Seeds Cinderella 99 f4 and Iron Cindy next run on the hill.

for my experience i m very dissapointed with cinderella.
i grew mosca version before icmag member who did selecta. if i remember 24 females.
i grew after female seed and DNA version but when i talked in another thread i prefered cannalope haze .
cannalope haze is a cinderella 99.
just taste and frosty. good for make cross.

I've only attempted Cindy one time, it was male (Brothers grimm) during my last grow.

However I purchased some Cindy and my male smelt identical to what I smoked....what I smoked tasted how I'd expect a pineapple haze would....and was an absolutely great smoke.

I've heard great things about cantaloupe haze but never tried it......

Cindy the main problem I see is there's 50 different options of where to get it and they're all pretty much different from what I've read....so depending one what Cindy you get, you're experience may differ from mine....not to mention different phenos....so narrowing it down may be difficult

But when you find a great Cindy, she's a great smoke.

However I had a candyland that I purchased that was 100% better than Cindy, but I've heard mixed things about that strain too.

On my next run I'm doing a C99xKali Mist and Strawberry Cough. I've never gotten to try cindy anything so I'm stoked about it.

Personally Cindy is 1 of my favorites, reach for it before almost anything else....but strawberry cough is also 1 of my favorites...would be tough to choose which to go for lol never got to try kali mist, heard great things about it though

Most all weed in US in the 60s, early 70s was Sativa

Don't forget about the lower THC Sativa landraces, like the Himalayan charas sativas. The quality of the high is much different, probably due to the fact you need to consume more bud material to get to your preferred level of highness, consuming a lot more terpenes and various other cannabinoids in the process. Even as hash (like temple balls) the high has a very warm/mellow/comforting feeling. Very underrated plants.

all of the newer orange strains don't scratch the peel to what the cali-o clone floating around in the early 2000's was. everything else is zest, but cali-o was candy orange fruit with frost up and down. I have great memories of it.

But I would be looking for a shorter flowering thai hybrid. Stay away from the mexican sativa's imo. The thai's will be very floral, fruity, and uplifting. There's not a more enjoyable smoke imo. It's like smoking a xanax.
