Sativa In A PC Case!!

Heh guys,

Been thinking about buying some Sativa seeds and trying to get some cerebral high out of a PC case!!!

Its gonna take some major work to keep the height down, but Im thinking of using a bonsai style pot to keep the whole plant mini, as well as LST, and perhaps even some topping or fimming (but I would rather not go as far as that).

Not sure if I could get away with 100% Sativa plant, so might go for a Sativa dom strain. I have done a few searches and think perhaps Super Cali-Haze Autos might fit the bill. The effect from the MJ is described as "Soaring Sativa High" - sounds nice

Height of the SCH is given as between 1m, up to over 2M outdoors. But Im hoping that if I use a bonsai pot Id be able to keep the height to under ½ metre? Which is the height of my case incidentally!

Even if I only get 5 grams per plant from it id be chuffed, as Im not big smoker anymore anyway. Hope to get 2 plants inside my case.

Any thoughts???

1 plant scrog it with a screen you can get up to one ounce :)
prefereably if you can dont grow from seed because untill it matures it will be quite big so its better to go from clone so you can flower anyting you want

1 plant in pccase dude. And half metre is size of case? Minus your pot size and light and heat distance. Working in quarter of metre approx. would have to top, lst etc etc. dare I say it can be done though!

One plant, LST or SCROG and look for a clone if you can.
I'd stay away from a bonsai dish, they won’t hold enough soil and won’t support the type of root system you’re going to want. The height of those trees comes from training and not the container. With my bonsais I had to take them and soak the whole plant, pot and all in the sink for a few hours a week so the tree could get enough moisture because there wasn’t enough soil in the dish to support it. Not something could easily do with a SCROG.

It can be done, I popped some seeds i made awhile back, The seeds where Nycd x master kush, got the Nycd clone and had the Kush pollen in the freezer lol. I grew a few out the phenos were insanely different one was fat leaf bushy as fuck, other was stretchy and skinny leaf, i gave a few to my buddy and he popped them about a month ago, interestingly enough he had the same thing happen. he is big into youtube and has some videos, ill post a link if your really interested. sorry for going off subject but you can, i've done it just to do it i had a spare case, the shoebox totes you can get at wal-mart fit perfectly into my case and i just LSTED the shit out of it, dont worry about stressing it, I literally tied the bud down when it was almost a week till cutting, it never cause any problems what so ever. Just dont be rough, gotta be gently as if it were a baby.

One plant, i really dont see getting two plants unless its a server case, even them you'd be pushing it

Whether or not its worth the effort is a different question, but this definitely can be done, and I've seen it. It just takes some work and planning.

Start with a wide low pot, keep the light close to the plant to minimize "stretch", train extensively from the beginning using the full width of the grow space, and keep vegetative time and height down to a minimum (eg 12-12 from seed).

As mentioned, you don't want to use an ACTUAL bonsai pot since those don't have enough volume to support a decent root system. Think "shoebox" instead, and make sure you use a good high quality aerated soil, or (maybe better) a soilless mix. Alternatively, you could try a short hydroponic system, which can buy you a few extra inches here.
