I'm leaning a little towards sativa.

Although I might be bi-polar, if you asked me this question a few weeks from now, my answer might be indica.
 
favorites:
sativa = PPP because it can endure harsh heat, and gives a good yeild. and i love to have an energetic high
indica = afghan goo because any mj plant from afghanistan uses resin as syrup/blood. the smoke is thick. good taste but a little harsh like potent stoner fuel! warning couch lock
 
50/50 count? :D Didn't get the chance to smoke a pure sativa yet, but otherwise I can say that my favorite smoke was the Orange Bud. Very nice trippy high.
 
sativa - durban poison makes me buzz around and is a very happy, 'up' high without any 'lock or burnout.
indica - ultimate indica (sweet tooth #3 X Ortega) it hits very hard, very fast and very heavy which is what I want from my indica strain.

I'm with you on the LUI, sometimes it's almost too heavy lol! But, it's a breeze to grow in any condition and is VERY forgiving to a first time grow!

I like to have both. Indica for night and Sativa for day. Sometimes a hybrid is nice also. Do we have to pick just one? LOL.
 
Now, I'll imbibe any form of cannabis in any fashion, but my all-time favorite is definitely a backwood rolled up with some tasty purps.
 
LUI can be way too heavy. I remember having to go a month using it as my daytime smoke and well, I didn't get a whole lot done that month haha.
I used LUI seed for my first two practice plants and i agree that they were so easy to grow. I fed em 30-10-10 tree food in a closet and they still thrived lol.
 
I always select a sativa dom for daytime, especially if I have things to accomplish....indica for evening relaxation. Vaporizers always...
 
Sativa If youve gotta get shit done, Bowl of something indica and the daily show with John Stewart and youve got it made. all depends on the mood.

I'm a blunt connoisseur myself, White Rhino in a grape wrapper mixed with strawberry tobacco sounds bad but smokes like a dream

It's so unfortunate that Steve isn't breeding anymore! We were lucky enough to have a friend give us a clone. When I first started growing, I had LUI under an 18w aquarium light, yes really... LOL. I still got bud, and knowing what I know now, I can't believe it. I just can't smoke this during the day. I sit on the couch and drool, that seems to be all I can muster... LOL. I do find when I bake with it, totally different feeling! If you still have some lyin around, make some oil or butter, you'll love it!

Hey Oldreefer - I've never used a vaporizer except for the e-cigs (you can extract THC in Glycerin which can be vaped in the e-cig, kind of mellow tho), anyhow, how is that different? Are they worth the money? Do you have one that you'd recommend?
 
I was fortunate to hook up with an old school breeder who got the seeds from spice of life a long, long time ago and I know that the bag of seeds he gave me (50 +) are very special seeing how you can't get your hands on this strain anymore.
 
Sativa all the way. Not a real fan of couch lock I like the the trippy mind stuff.
But Id like to know if vaps are worth it and what type to get
