sativa for depression?

im definitely someone who leans toward the depressive side. heavy indicas tend to put me on my ass and make me super paranoid. any aches and pains i might be having are actually amplified. the more i smoke, the worse it gets.

not too many sativas available in my area. i did have the opportunity to smoke some elvis and liked the heady high, but looking for something more speedy and cerebral. looking for something that jives with computer programming and elevates my mood.

any suggestions as far as strains? suggestions for seedbanks shipping to the U.S?

im not trying to be facetious - get some barney's farm laughing buddha. this is an extremely sativa strain, it does what it promises...def will put a happy spin on ur computer programming projects. some ppl complain about barney's farm but i was at their place in ams and everything was phenomenal so i cant really side with the haters.

other great breeders are TGA subcool, serious seeds, mandala, mosca, mr. nice, reserva privada, and cali connection. try attitude because they carry everything, the freebies are fantastic and the shipping cant be beat.
i gotta tell you that i get what ur going thru, every winter i deal with SAD (usually the minor side thankfully) but i smoke indicas anyway although im no mental health expert and its all about personal taste.

I too deal with depression and a good sativa or sativa dom hybrid can really change your day.
I personally love Sensi Seeds Jack Herer, but it's rather expensive (and the knock-off's are nowhere near as good).
Some more affordable recommendations that also work for me would be C99, NYC Diesel, and Chocolope.
Good luck.

from what I hear, Jilly Bean from TGA gives a very happy high...haven´t tried it before, but i got two seeds ordered from attitude...waiting for those...another strain of interest is Mekong High from Dutch Passion...its a pure landrace sativa from southeast asia...strong up high...

im about to harvest my jillybean in about 2-3 weeks def the frostiest bug i have grown so far...no smell at all but once you place your nose close too it by far the strongest astringent, fruity smell. im also rooting for that anti depression strain which im so stoked about to try the jillybean
