Sannie's Seeds Killing Fields F3 Fem Questions!!!

I am thinking of ordering a 5 pack of the Fem Killing Fields from Sannie...

Anybody have any experience with this strain? What are the phenos like (or how do they differ from each other)? Characteristics? flowering times? flower stretch? potency? flavor? stability? etc.

Also, does anyone have a pink and/or blue pheno? with a grow journal possibly? :weed:

Check opengrow, sannie & co are on there, and there's a mountain of information about it over there. Pheno-wise the general take is that the green has better potency (although my F2s had good potency across the board) while the purple and blue have more interesting tastes. I don't think there's a bad one in the bunch, but I have also not grown the feminized.

I finished up a purple pheno about 2 months ago. Its pretty damned good. Yielded 4.5 oz with 1 topping, 30 days in veg. I have heard others say its not as potent as they would like. The pheno I have is potent. Everyone who smokes some goes away impressed.

Stretched like HELL. It was about 5' of plant, not including the pot. Completely finished in 9 weeks of flower.

Thanks for the opengrow tip...i was on there once before but i prefer RIU's layout better...just cleaner and organized better in my opinion. But oh well ill deal. :eyesmoke:

You said you had F2s? Did you get your seeds awhile ago? Sannie says both his Fems and Regs are F3s...

Thanks for the input, +rep

Do you have any pics or a journal of your grow? Were you hydro or soil?

And damn that is some stretch...did you do any training besides topping?

Here are some pictures. No training other than 1 topping from 6th node down to 4th node.
Happy Farms soil with some worm castings/perlite/lime added. So far it was the most stretch I have had on an indoor plant. I generally grow one sativa/mostly sativa per batch.

it's supposed to be one of the trippiest real deal indoor sativas available. that, and TGA's jack the ripper are reported to be the best "10 weeks hazes". it's a shame both celebrate necrophila in their names. i'd grow them myself. fortunately, there's plenty of other good gear out there. i just don't get how desensitized people are to death in america. if anything, it's a fascination for so many. fuck that noise! the strain itself though is supposed to be awesome. i'll settle for trying sannie's jack f7. that should be at least nice too. i'm not as into IBLs as i used to be now that i've tried a few great hybrids that have psychoactivity and that don't bite you as bad with the room spinning dizzies thing like pure sativas can do. from what i've heard of killing fields, it has that same kind of buzz whose limits you don't want to step over with 4 straight chambers.

I am sure Sannie is more than happy that you refuse to abuse and kill his hard work.

The standard 400 watt MH in veg, 400 watt HPS in flower.
I have only grown it once, so I cant give any input on different phenos but I was more, more than happy with the one I had.
Tastes like grape pinesol. I didnt expect such a strong pinesol smell in the grow and the flavor.

OK......I'll bite, what does naming a strain 'Killing Fields' have to do with corpse fucking?

First; the name Killingfields is NOT a reference to the Killingfields of Cambodia under Pol Pot. Sannie is Dutch and it is a translation issue. He meant to say you will get Fields of Killer buds, ie, Killingfields.

I've grown this strain indoor and outdoor. It will stretch don't veg too long. The purp pheno smells like grape Jolly Rancher, coffee and pickles. The green pheno is a bit more traditional smelling. Both are strong w/ the green being a bit stronger.

It's a fun plant to grow. Pretty hardy and easy to deal with. Good strong sativa high.

You may want to try the Sugar Punch as well. It's way more on the trippy side. Had some last night and I found myself with my eyes closed and mind wondering through gentle visuals. The KF is more talky/social/giggly.

Nice...I'll be running a 600w MH for veg and a 600w HPS for flower and scrogging, so i am excited to see the yield i get. I am really hoping to get a blue pheno, a green pheno, and a purple pheno :weed:...but I'd be happy with any of them.

So it is a pretty stinky strain then?

SMH :spew:

Do you really believe that because a breeder names his strain say, Jack the Ripper for example, that he is in anyway promoting murder or necrophilia? (which has nothing to do with either of the names you mentioned, JTR did not rape the prostitutes after he killed them) If anything its a clever marketing scheme because its a name almost everyone is familiar with and it describes the potency of the strain. If you are gonna spew BS, do it elsewhere please.

You are 100% correct, it says almost the same thing about the name in The Big Book of Buds Vol.4

I am planning on scrogging so i had a month long veg in mind, start scrogging probably around week 2-3 depending on height and health, and continue to scrog into the 2nd week of flower...I think that should tame her some. That sounds like an amazing smell, i love the smell of grape jolly ranchers.

Thanks for the tip, ill definitely look into Sugar Punch...i wouldn't mind some nice visuals. :hump:

Thanks for all the info, +rep.

Thanks buddy. Scrog is the way to go with her. She's a good hardy plant, very pretty and fun to grow. The purple is super purple, it's like an eggplant.

Def look into Sugar Punch. I was surprised by her. The pheno I had was a beautiful lavender color.

Its always nice when their are strains that are excellent...and have beautiful colors. Colorful bud is definitely a + as long as the quality is there...they really are beautiful flowers, and i feel a lot of people forget that's what they are, flowers.

So I ordered a 5 pack of the Killingfields F3 Fem's and received them last week. I also got 5 Silioqueen Reg's, 5 Cherry OG Fem's and 5 Blueberry Headband Fem's, plus assorted freebies. I'm going to be germinating the end of this week and I'm debating between running the KF or BH first...what do you guys think? I will be doing a journal regardless but i cant make-up my mind between the Blueberry Headband or Killingfields. lol :wall:
