What's your problem? You are going to be fine.
There are plenty of reasons why people didn't make it to a comfortable retirement. It's not a moral failing in most cases. In the states, about half or more bankruptcies are caused by a health crisis. Way too many people lose a good job and never find another job that pays anywhere near it. Talk about a financial tragedy. Then again, the median wage in the US is $35,000. How could a single Mom or Dad raise two kids, put them through college and save for a retirement on that?
I looked in wonderment at people who, just before the financial crisis in 2008-09, when we were in a housing bubble, refinanced and spent the equity on a motor home. I shook my head in wonder because I'd never do that. Absolutely there are people who make bad financial decisions. Not my decision, not my place to judge either.
For many the system simply doesn't work out for them. I'm glad for you that you made it. I simply don't understand why that gives you the right to comment about others.
