So it's still hallucinogenic?More likely a peruvian torch/pachanoi hybrid.
Thank you! That's sorta what was confusing me. I was looking up how to distinguish a San Pedro and it was talking about the spines growing in groups of 4-6 and some have 7-10. It was also saying that with age the turn white which made me think it was a San Pedro again. I'm new to this stuff but really want to get more into it, it seems fun to learn about. How big of a clipping should I take? Since its a hybrid are there more alkaloids?Yes. The reason I think that it's a hybrid is the length of the spines. Pachanoi usually has much shorter spines. That being said, there are many phenotypes and it is hard to say exactly what it is, but it appears to be a cactus that is active.
What?in before 911
Don't worry, I'm not think of eating it! I would only do that if I was 100% certain, which I'm not, so eating is out of the question. I was just wondering to have better info for future referencei wouldn't go eating random cactus any sooner than i'd eat random mushrooms. your body. your choice.
