I have them leading to the top of a full trich, and it almost looks like magic potion, but i also see what your talking about bricktop there will be some that are just purp with no heads.

ive seen purple going up the stem of the trics. it is totally possible.

could it be that the purple on the bud is refracting through the trics with the sun/ camera flash? either way break me off a chunk o that bad boy!

I have also seen a photo with purple/maroon anthocyanins leaking into a clear trichome, exactly the way bricktop described. Wish I could find it but so far no luck.


EDIT found it posted on ICMAG by "strain searcher" the poster simply called it BB but the file names are blackberry-pie and VBS

hey that is really cool!! we should do more research on this and figure out whether it affets the plant in any way or if its just a rare thing that happens in certain strains! if you have other plants growing in the same conditions of the same strain thtat this isnt happening to you sould definitely do a comparison between them

yeah that is prob one of the coolest things i have ever seen. purple trics! what type of plant are u growing and do u think it might be how u grew it? if that is a defect i dont even care i want that on all my plants but no just regular cloudy and amber whatever its still bud

I only have one plant. I've been growing for the past 3 years and this is a first.It came from a collection of seeds that i have been collecting since 2000.
