Safely Upping Nitrogen To Combat Severe Yellowing During Flowering

That should of read that the chart shows a 'dose'. I think I posted it from my damn iPad that likes to make corrections that are usually in error.

Week 5 is usually when i run into deficiency issues as well. Fox Farm chart even shows a boos of Grow big given around that time frame for that very reason. Give them a good shot of N, then back right back off of it.

I'm in week 5 of flowering, day 32 exactly and within the last couple days the plants have started rapidly turning yellow, even some top leaves. Ive grown before and generally know what I'm doing but I would like to green them up just a little to save the surface area of all those fans for better energy tranference for max bud developement.

I'm using GH 3 part, diamond nectar, likwid Karma, grozyme in the medium of hp promix, ph is steady at around 5.8-6.0.
I had the same problem. Foliar feed with low concetrated N fertilizer your leaves and the yellowing should stopd within a couple of days. If you are not sure if it is N deficiency then try it in one plant (if you have time to experiment).

You are the only one who knows if they are overfetilized or if it a deficincy.
Usually in the 5-6th week of blooming leaves are yellowing due to N deficiency

bang on Gantsa, only I know right and I'm quite sure it's (was)a combination of huge salt build ups causing PH issues and lack of a little extra N. Proof is after a rigorous flushing combined with light dose of veg nutes with a little extra N they looked at least 50% better within 3 days. I may try a little foliar spray of nitrogen rich water and spray some of the bigger fans away from colas, to see if that works also. Isn't foliar feeding a plant in week 6 flower detrimental on buds? I would think that would cause mould eh

having the same issue ... but its only week 3 !!
i only feed every other week
todays a freshwater day... should i try adding some b-52 (2-1-4) or grow to the fresh water?
or will foliar feed be enough?

they aren't yellow yet but they are turning very light green with purple veins.....

Hey old pal. Ive found for the first two weeks of flowering im giving my ladies veg nutes. This is because it takes three weeks for nutrients to start showing up. So if you dont feed them veg nutes in the begging around week 5 you will see some defs.
Here is how i do it now. Wk1 and wk2 im giving 600ppm then wk3,4,5,6 1000ppm then week 7 850ppm wk8 flush.
Get a ppm pen. I bought mine for 35$ and a Liquid GH Ph tester i swear by now. Got that for 15$
I only use voodoo in the beggining and b52. then koolbloom near the end at half strenght.
Ive used the three part with the same strain for a while. I use both GH and advanced nutes three part. I have two sets of the 6 gallons.
I feed then flush. Out with the old and in with the new. I feed on day 1 and flush on day 4 then day 8 feed. then day 12 flush etc. Let them dry up before you flush them. This also helps with salt build up and balances PH levels. I have my Ph at 6.0-6.5 yellowish green on the ph water test. When i use the water tester and after i add ph up i let it all sit for half an hour and take messurements again. Hope this helped.

hey buddy plants are still looking good you might have lost little yield, But either way chalk it up as a learning exp your only goin to get better.
Next grow you should really invest in SuperB max and Cal MAg suppliment

you can add superBmax through out veg for vigoriuos growth it can aslo be used as a foilage
as you head into flower

what i do is 1 st week 12 /12 feed all veg nutes adding my flowerin jurrasic bloom , fulvix cal mag and super B max

week 2 -4 floweing A - B fulvix, cal mag , superB max Grozome all 1 ml per 1 litre of water , jurrasic bloom 6 grams per 20 litres i usually do a iron and zinc foulage spray during this time mid watering

Week 4 to 6 same as above adding carbo-boost , jurrasic bloom 6 grams per 20 litres , rest 2 - 3 ml per litre

week 6 - 7 stop grozome

week 8 flush with lush green plants :)) with minor nute burns developing
