For those that are wondering this is for within the city limits of Sacramento and does not affect the county. Yet......

I'd also like to note the timing of this all. Right before the flowering stage and will affect the major output for meds in this area. This is a well planned out tactic for Sac PD. It's going to be interesting to see how this will all play out. To any of those that have payed attention to me in the past have seen that I mentioned this may be one of the last "outdoor" years for the Sacramento area.

Get your indoor setups ready guys and gals!

There is nothing preventing you from laying low. In fact you're upset about the opposite, that you can't be big and bold. You must be under 35 and do not know what it was like pre 96. You have SO MUCH FREEDOM TO GROW RIGHT NOW IT'S RIDICULOUS!!! Try growing outdoors when it's COMPLETELY illegal and you get years in jail for one plant.

The city let people harvest where I'm at before they put the outdoor law into place. I know people will get all mad, but I kind of like the idea of it not being in everyones' face and out of smell/sight of children. I hate government getting involved as much as the next guy, but it just seems more responsible. Just like parents leaving meds out in the open for children, it's kind of sickening. Just my opinion. I'm glad we're "allowed" to grow it at all.

I agree... it sucks that there are restrictions, but if they're allowing greenhouse for outdoors in a CITY (where they generally don't allow a lot of typical farming activities), that's pretty reasonable...

if it's over 100sf you need a permit
Lame... permit = inspection.

^^^^ sounds like u sac farmers need to litter ur property with a hella 10x10 greenhouses!
Good idea but not really feasible what are you going to grow one big plant per greenhouse?? Also it would not be long at all before the city made a restriction against how many structures like this you can have on your property (if there already isn't one)

If it's not attached to the home it's considered a free standing structure and subject to inspection and permits. Failure to get a permit can result in fines until the structure is removed or you come into compliance.
