S.O.G Hydro light question

I bought a 1000w hps for my 6'wx5'Lx7'h flower room is that enough? Or should I get a light mover. Also how many plants can I expect to fit in a 2'x2' tray using s.o.g? I plan on 4 - 2'x2' trays and 2 res. Does this all sound right?

Bro ...... Chill Chill my friend!!!!!! Going after the forum for NOT helping will not get you the info you are looking for. I have found that it depends on the time of post and what the topic is. If you post at an odd time 2am for instance, you might not get a response or one that is delayed. If you have asked a question that might have been found by doing your own research coupled with the time of post that can get your question not answered.

I have found SOOOO much information here that its my only information source but I do a lot of research on my OWN. I have built my room and started growing by only using this forum.

I too have asked a question to have it not answered so i went back researched it and found my own answer.

People here are more than helpful and you will find that if you do your diligence and ask pointed questions and ones that are not the same as the guy that asked the day before you will get your question answered.

Ok to answer your question. From what i have read here you will be just fine with a 1000W HPS light. But i would research it some more here to make sure that is what you want before committing to it.

A footprint could be roughly 20 square feet with 1000watter (around 50w per square foot).
Your footprint is 16 square foot, so your fine. You could probably do with an adjustawing and cooltube.
You can put a maximum of 4 plants (SOG) in a square foot.

You may have the space, but you need to get at all plants for pruning.

For each tray you'll need a res.
