Rushing flowering, will impact quality or just quantity?

I’m almost three weeks into flowering and after sexing I’m down to one plant. I started with 5 plants and I was hoping to get at least 2-3 females. Oh well.

I know I should probably just clone this plant and start over. But I'd almost like to finish this batch. I figure even though it is only one plant I can probably learn a lot for next time.

I'm on 12/12 with a 400 watt HPS system. I'm wondering what are the odds I'll be done in the next 5 weeks (8 weeks total). From everything I've read I think I'll need more time. I'd just like to harvest before company comes to visit for the holidays.

I've heard that shortening the light even more can speed up the flowering process. I know this would impact the quantity of bud, but I'm just wondering if this would also impact the quality.

If the quality would also get impacted I'll just have to put more time and effort into odor control.

Thanks

Don't ruin good bud.
That defeats the purpose of growing.
It'd be cheaper to buy bad weed then grow it.
Take ur time, Harvest when 70% of trichromes are amber, and 30% cloudy.
